Again & Again

At age 23, the two celebrate her birthday together in Christchurch.  
Season of florals, petals blown by the wind.
She has him by her side, hands holding tight.
He tells her,

“We’ll hold our wedding here.”
The sounds of piano and guitar shall take turns resonating, surrounded by tons of flowers based on her liking. 

“We’ll grow old together, hand in hand, and love each other ever after, till death do us part.”

However, they realize as they age, there is no ever after.

Harper: Mom told him young love is as fancy as a fairytale—it’s beautiful but doesn’t last; when he grows older, he will meet many more people and be able to forget her.
